What is the difference between Foiled Edges and Painted Edges?

Follow

We have two methods to colour the edge of your cards – Foiled Edges and Painted Edges.

Foiled Edges are available in gold and silver. This option is much more reflective and shiny, as a thin metallic material (foil) is applied to the edges.

Painted Edges use ink to colour the edges. There are options of CMYK colour (matte), Neon Fluorescent, or Metallic ink.

When comparing the Metallic Ink to the Metallic Foil options, the ink will have a bit of a sparkle, while the foil will be smooth, reflective and shiny.
