It’s possible, but we don’t recommend it unless you’re okay with some misalignment.
This is called a "crossover image" — where a single image spans from the left page to the right page. While it can look impressive, it’s very difficult to line up perfectly because of how the book is glued and trimmed.
Common issues:
Faces or objects can end up looking cut in half or out of sync
Text may get lost or look uneven across the gutter (spine area)
When a book opens, each page naturally curves slightly near the spine — so a face or subject across two pages can appear bent or warped in the middle
If you still want to try it:
Use background-style images only (not detailed subjects)
Avoid placing important elements across the center
Expect some shift — especially with thicker books
Better approach: Keep important visuals and text fully on one page whenever possible.
