Adding a texture to Screen Printed T-Shirts

If you want a rougher or textured "worn" look to your Screen Printed T-Shirt there are two ways this can be achieved:

  • Single Pass: Request a "single pass" screen print on your T-Shirt. Usually with screen printing we would apply the ink at least two times (like two coats of paint) to ensure that the colour is solid, but for a more textured worn effect you can request just a single pass (or coat). Each shirt will have a slightly different texture to it. This will not make the cost any cheaper.
  • Add texture to the design: Your design must still be solid and vector, but adding (and removing) small rougher texture pieces to the design (in vector format) can give a rough vintage effect.

You can also combine both options for a very vintage rustic worn effect.
