Specialty spot colors and Pantone Matching System colors are only available when letterpress or screen printing processes are used. These colors can only be mixed by hand and require traditional print techniques as opposed to digital printing.
Premium Offset and Digital Output
Our Premium Offset Printing and Digital Printing will output your designs using standard full color CMYK. This means that all the colors in your artwork will be created using Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and Black (K). These four colors are capable of printing a wide range of colors but have difficulty reproducing intense pinks or greens.
If you supply your artwork/design with Spot Colors or Pantone colors they will be converted to CMYK before printing. Most Pantone colors and spot colors have a CMYK output equivalent.
We strongly recommend that the conversion to CMYK is made before uploading your files. This way, you can keep the colour values more consistent across your print material.
Letterpress and Screen Printing
