1. File Format
Accepted Formats: PDF (preferred), AI, PSD, EPS, TIFF, JPG
Resolution: 300 dpi (dots per inch) minimum
Color Mode: CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black)
2. Bleed and Trim
Bleed: Include a 1/8 inch (0.125 inch or 3mm) bleed on all sides.
Trim Line: The trim line is where your design will be cut. Ensure important elements are within the safe zone, which is at least 1/8 inch (0.125 inch or 3mm) inside the trim line.
3. Safe Zone
Safe Zone: All critical text and images should be within the safe zone, away from the trim line, to avoid being cut off during the trimming process.
4. Fonts and Text
Font Embedding: Ensure all fonts are embedded or outlined in your file.
Minimum Font Size: Avoid using fonts that are 7pt or smaller to maintain readability.
5. Color Specifications
CMYK: Files must be in CMYK color mode to ensure color accuracy during printing.
Spot Colors: If using spot colors (Pantone), make sure they are defined correctly in your file.
6. Image Quality
Resolution: All images should be at least 300 dpi at 100% of their print size.
